Correction; in the video, I claim this fan to be from the mid 1940s; it is actually frm the mid-late 1930s. I got this fan from a friend of the family; supposedly, this fan has been sitting in storage for over 40 years. If not for that long, it hasn't been touched in at least 20 years. I plugged it in, fired it up, and not surprising, it worked perfectly. I am going to keep the original paint and what's left of the chrome intact. I simply relubed, cleaned, and replaced the mains wire. She runs perfectly now!
